On May 25, comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee worked with the Vietnam Horticultural Association on a number of issues related to agricultural production activities in the area.

At the meeting, representatives of the Vietnam Horticultural Association informed about VAC economic development models and wished to cooperate with the agricultural sector and Phu Tho Provincial Horticultural Association to deploy appropriate models. with local conditions.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai also informed the delegation about the situation of agricultural, forestry and fishery production associated with VAC economic development in the province. Accordingly, the total annual crop planting area of Phu Tho is nearly 110 thousand hectares, including: tea, grapefruit, bananas and other typical product groups such as: seedless persimmon, gardenia, Ga Gay sticky rice, black crow, potatoes floor... The province is continuing to develop specialty products with local advantages along the value chain associated with OCOP. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, he will continue to cooperate with the Vietnam Horticultural Association in applying and transferring scientific and technological advances, high technology VAC models, and cooperative economics ( cooperatives, farms) towards circular agriculture.
