Phu Tho province farm economic development plan for the period 2016-2020

On September 21, 2016, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 4177/KH-UBND for farm economic development in Phu Tho province for the period 2016 - 2020.

With the goal of developing the market economy to become a core, commodity-oriented nucleus to exploit and effectively use the potential of land, capital, new science and technology in production, linking production and processing. processing and consuming products; create jobs, increase income value, and encourage farmers to get rich. The specific goals by 2020 are: (1) strive to have 521 farms operating in the whole province meeting the prescribed criteria; (2) the total value of farm output reached over 1,200 billion VND; (3) average farm income reaches 450 million VND/farm/year; (4) attract over 7,000 workers to work on farms; (5) 100% of farm owners are trained and fostered to improve their professional qualifications and management skills to meet the needs of farm economy development; (6) over 50% of regular workers on farms participate in vocational training classes for rural workers; (7) over 80% of farms participating in production follow safety procedures (VietGAP, GlobalGAP...) and current regulations; (8) over 50% of the value of commodity output of farms in the province is consumed through joint activities with businesses; (9) 100% of newly registered livestock farms have environmental impact assessment reports or environmental protection plans approved according to regulations.

To achieve the goals of the Plan, it is necessary to synchronously implement the following solutions: (1) promote state management of market economy development; (2) strengthen propaganda work; (3) well implement policy mechanisms on rural agriculture associated with market economy development and environmental protection; (4) develop human resources and actively mobilize resources; (5) synchronously apply scientific and technological advances; (6) promote trade promotion, linking production and consumption of products.
